Ava's Newborn Photos: St. Louis Park, MN

Ava was nine weeks old during her newborn session and she was a rock star. She handled the whole hour better than any baby has at that age. I usually recommend that families sneak in their newborn session as soon as they're able after birth. Ideally I like to shoot within the first two weeks. Baby is usually a little sleepier and more content during this time. However, having a new baby is exhausting and sometimes it's just better to wait a bit. In this case, it worked out even better because we were able to get some sleeping shots and catch a few of those "first" smiles.
